Dough:
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F/43°C)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 4 cups all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)
Strawberry Swirl:
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam or preserves
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon Filling:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
Icing:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Prepare the dough:
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Stir and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.
- Add melted butter, salt, and eggs. Stir to combine.
- Gradually add flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
2. Prepare the strawberry swirl:
- In a small bowl, mix together the strawberry jam, sugar, and vanilla extract. Set aside.
3. Make the cinnamon filling:
- In a bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Set aside.
4. Assemble the rolls:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a 12x18-inch rectangle.
- Spread the softened butter over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Evenly spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Drizzle the strawberry swirl mixture over the cinnamon filling and gently swirl with a spoon or knife to combine.
- Starting from the long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log.
- Slice the log into 12 equal pieces.
5. Bake the rolls:
- Place the rolls into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cover with a clean towel and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
6. Make the icing:
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle the icing over the warm cinnamon rolls.
